Wow, can you believe it's been two years since we got married?? Jon and I decided to head up North to Traverse City, MI. We've been here before and love the area, but we usually stay at a hotel. This time we decided to rent a cabin:
The first night we cooked Chicken Parmesan & built a campfire out back:
We spent Saturday hiking on South Manitou Island. For those who know about Michigan, the Manitou Islands are only accessible by boat. There's rustic camping on the two islands (which we plan to do next summer) and a ton of hiking trails. We took the boat over and enjoyed about 10 miles of hiking before heading back for dinner:
Sunday was our actual anniversary, and we celebrated by checking out some of the wineries on the Old Mission Peninsula:
A very fun weekend. And on to the next year of marriage...!
